Lansdale Borough Police have identified the driver who allegedly fled the scene Sunday afternoon after hitting a 3-year-old boy on Shaw avenue. Police say that a witness was able to video the license plate of the vehicle. The driver has been identified as 70-year-old, Suryakant Patel of Shaw avenue in Lansdale. Police say Patel will receive a summons at a future date. The boy was treated at Lansdale Hospital for minor injuries.
