Molester Loses Appeal, Goes To Jail
51-year-old Jeffrey Lukens of Buckingham Township reported to the county prison earlier this month to start serving a 7 to 23-month term.
A jury found him guilty of indecent assault and other offenses nearly two years ago. He had been out on bail while appealing his conviction, but now the superior court has rejected his appeal and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has refused to hear it.
He was arrested in November of 2008 after one of his son’s schoolmates, who was visiting, told police he was sleeping on the couch when he awoke to find Lukens fondling him. He ran from the house, called his parents on a cell phone and hid behind a bush until his father came to get him.
