A Quakertown area man has admitted killing his wife and her lover.
41-year-old Lloyd Hill, formerly of Haycock Township, pleaded guilty to first degree murder and other offenses Monday in Bucks County Court.
He admitted stabbing 36-year-old Stefanie Hill and beating 43-year-old Frederick Tarantino to death in January at the Schoolhouse Apartments on Easton Road in Nockamixon Township, where they had been living since December with Hill’s daughter Marissa, who is now 18 years old.
The judge gave him two consecutive sentences of life in state prison without parole. Prosecutors withdrew plans to seek the death penalty at the request of family members. They did not want the teenager, who witnessed the aftermath of the murders, to take the witness stand at trial.
She called 911 the day of the murders and told the dispatcher, “My dad stabbed my mom.” In court Monday she told her father he had ruined her life saying, “Not only did you take my mom’s life, you made me see what you did.”
Bucks County Judge Jeffrey Finley told Hill his acts were savage, brutal, premeditated and selfish, but mostly cowardly.
