Towamencin Township Police are investigating an attempted burglary at the CVS Pharmacy in the Allen-Forge Shopping Center, Allentown and Valley Forge Roads.

A window was broken next to the front doors and a second window was broken in the entrance foyer, but nothing appeared to be missing, so it’s not clear if anyone gained entry.

It happened early Wednesday morning when the alarm did not activate, probably because of a storm-related power outage.
