A Lansdale man is accused of killing his mother at the Salford Avenue home they shared.
54-year-old Warren Pennick (pictured here) is charged with first and third degree murder in the stabbing death of 79-year-old Lorraine Pennick.
He allegedly walked into the Lansdale police station Wednesday morning and told a dispatcher he had just killed his mother.
Police went to the home immediately and found the victim lying in a pool of blood at the bottom of the basement stairs with multiple stab wounds to her torso, defensive wounds on her wrists and a slash wound to her throat.
Pennick is being held without bail at Montgomery County Prison.
