A Horsham man is accused of hitting a Lansdale woman with his car and speeding away from the scene.

24-year-old Timothy Dilanzo of Blair Mill Road is charged with assault, reckless driving and other offenses.

Police say his Nissan Sentra hit 34-year-old Elizabeth Gannon of Lansdale shortly before 7:00am Wednesday while she was walking through a parking lot at a 7-11 store at North York Road and Moreland Avenue in Hatboro.  They say he cut through the parking lot to avoid waiting for a red light.

The victim was released from a hospital after treatment of injuries.
