An Ambler man who admitted robbing a Whitpain Township drug store has been given six to 20 years in state prison.

22-year-old Maximillian Bodine of Forest Avenue in Ambler pleaded guilty to robbery.

Court documents say he pulled a gun and demanded drugs from the pharmacy counter at a CVS on Route 202 near Route 73 in July of 2011.

He got away with about $20,000 worth of the painkillers Percocet and OxyContin and $150 in cash.

A store surveillance camera picture that was shown on TV newscasts led to his arrest.
