Trial for a Lansdale man accused of murdering his mother on October 31st is not likely to see an April 26th court date. Warren Pennick, who walked in to the Lansdale Borough Police department on Halloween night and told officers he killed his mother, is seeking a three month delay. Police say, the 54-year-old man stabbed his mother, lorriane, several times. Detectives found the 79-year-old woman at the bottom of the steps in the basement of her Salford Avenue home. A psychologist, who examined Pennick, determined that he suffers from paranoid schizophrenia. Judge Carolyn Carluccio will make a decision to determine if a new trail date is warranted.
