An October drinking party involving teens results in a trial for a 48-year-old Lansdale man. Lansdale Police say Michael Steffens of the 1100 block of Beechwood avenue was holding a party October 12 when officers were called for a report of an 18 year old who was found to be unconscious.
Tests showed revealed the teen had consumed a considerable amount of alcohol. Steffens told officers he didn’t know who was in the house and didn’t see anyone, but six teen were in the basement of the home. One of the teens was found to be intoxicated. After taking the teen to the police station, he told police Steffens was present and drinking with them. Steffens will be arraigned on April 23rd on charges of corrupting the morals of minors and furnishing liquor to minors.
