A 19-year-old woman is free on unsecured bail after being accused of stealing several items of jewelry from her grandmother. Lansdale police say, Melissa Ann Dillon was arrested on December 22nd after Police discovered she stole 15-thousand dollars worth of jewelry and coins.
According to the arrest warrant, Dillon gave police a written statement that she sold some of the items to the Lansdale Pawn Shop. Dillon was taken to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility after failing to post bail in December. In early January, Dillon was set free when bail was reduced to unsecured. Dillon has been ordered to get help through a drug and alcohol rehab. Dillon will be in court on April 23rd for a formal arraignment.
