A Montgomery Township man Convicted of killing his wife Hollie in 2001 will not get a new trial after a judge denied his request Thursday in Montgomery County Court.
Adam Rosen, now 48 years old, was sentenced to life in prison in connection with the stabbing death of his wife. Under the state’s Post Conviction Relief Act, Rosen was granted a retrial 2008 and again was found guilty of first degree murder. Rosen’s attorney argued that Rosen should have been tried for 3rd degree murder because he did intend to kill his wife. A 3RD degree murder convicted would have given Rosen a lesser sentence and an opportunity for parole.
