Police: Teen Drove Through Stop Sign in Two Car Crash

Upper Gwynedd Police say two teens and an adult were injured in a two car crash Tuesday night at around 7 at the intersection of Park Avenue and West Point Pike. According to Police, the male teen driver drove through the stop sign at Park Avenue and the Sedan he was driving was immediately hit by an s-u-v, driving north on West Point Pike. The two vehicles came to rest on a corner with one of the vehicles hitting a home. No structural damage was caused, but the home’s gas meter was damaged. Fire officials had to help the teen driving the sedan get out of the car. The female teen passenger was flown to a Philadelphia Hospital. The male teen driver and the adult female driver of the s-u-v were transported to Abington Health Lansdale hospital.

Lansdale Man Gets Court Date on Camera Incident

A Lansdale man’s alleged actions with a video camera have earned him a day in Montgomery County Court. Authorities say, Conal Wright of West Mount Vernon street in Lansdale planted a video camera in the bathroom of the Vantage Program School in Fracnonia Township. The incident happened on January 28th when another employee found the camera. The employee discovered the video device while she was fully clothed. It was directed at the toilet. police were able to link the camera to Wright after finding information on the camera’s memory card, which easily allowed school staff to identify him. The faces a preliminary hearing on may 22nd in Montgomery County Court.

Upper Moreland Woman Charged with Murder

A stabbing is now a homicide. Upper Moreland Police have charged 48-year-old, Candice Phillips with first and third degree murder and manslaughter in the death of her boyfriend, Myrom McClinton. The 54-year-old man was found by officers Tuesday at around 8AM in the bedroom of unit-24 at the Wellington Apartments on Horsham Road. Police say, Phillips told officers” He’s upstairs I did,I did it.” A neighbor heard McClinton yelling at Phillips to stop hitting him. McClinton was talking in a 9-1-1 operator before officers could arrive. According to a relase from the Montgomery County District Attorney's office, McClinton told the operator, "I'm bleeding real bad. The blood is squirting out. I'm feeling weak. McClinton died of his injuries Tuesday evening at Abington Hospital.

Flames Overcome Building in Horsham

Fire guts a Horsham business, heavily damaging the property. The blaze erupted just before 2pm Sunday at the Blair Mill Professional Center on Blair Mill Road. Horsham and several additional fire companies responded to the scene. According to reports, embers from a mulch fire near the building quickly spread, engulfing the structure. More than a half dozen businesses used the location. Firefighters battled the stubborn blaze for several hours before bringing the three alarm fire under control.
