Quakertown Woman Clashes With Police After Traffic Stop

OFFICERS PLACED THE WOMAN’S PASSENGER IN HANDCUFFS AFTER FINDING EVIDENCE OF DRUGS, BUT ACCORDING TO POLICE, NASH BECAME IRRATIONAL AND STARTING STRUGGLING AND KICKING THE OFFICERS TO THE POINT WHERE ONE OFFICER USED A STUN GUN TO END THE CONFRONTATION AND BRING NASH INTO CUSTODY. SHE FACES 11 CHARGES. NASH WAS RELEASED FROM CUSTODY ATER POSTING 25-THOUSAND DOLLARS BAIL. A COURT DATE FOR NASH IS PENDING.

LEWCHICK, ACCORDING TO HER ATTORNEY, HAS A GAMBLING ADDICTION THAT GREW TO 40-THOUSAND DOLLARS, WHICH SHE OWES AN ATLANTIC CITY CASINO. LEWCHICK ALSO FILED FOR BANKRUPCTY AFTER PILING-UP DEBTS OF 400-GRAND. LEWCHICK IS BEING HELD IN BUCKS COUNTY PRISON AFTER FAILING TO POST 25-THOUSAND DOLLARS BAIL.

Trio Face Arraignments in Coin Shop Armed Robbery

AN EARLY MORNING, JANUARY 21ST ARMED ROBBERY AT A LANSDALE COIN STORE LANDS THREE MEN IN COUNTY COURT. POLICE SAY, GENE KULP, HIS COUSIN, 21-YEAR-OLD MICHAEL CRECIUN, AND 25-YEAR-OLD, ANTHONY HUGHES, CONSPIRED TO ROB HENS COINS ON MAIN STREET. POLICE SAY, KULP AND CRECIUN THREATENED THE OWNER WITH A KNIFE, AT ONE POINT, PUTTING HIM IN A CHOKE HOLD. THEY FLED THE BUSINESS WITH 95-HUNDRED DOLLARS WORTH OF COINS, WHICH THEY LATER ALLEGEDLY SOLD AT A SUPERMARKET. THE CAPPER COLLAPSED THE NEXT DAY, JANUARY 22ND, WHEN CRECIUN DECIDED TO APPPLY FOR A GUN PERMIT AT THE LANSDALE POLICE DEPARTMENT. POLICE SAY, CRECIUN WAS QUESTIONED ABOUT THE ROBBERY AND CONFESSED TO INVESTIGATORS. CRECIUN HAS A COURT DATE ON APRIL 10TH ARRIGNMENT, FOLLOWED BY KULP ON APRIL 24TH. HUGHES, THE ALLEGED GETAWAY DRIVER, WILL BE IN COURT MARCH 25TH.
