A Hilltown man accused of touching a 7-year-old girl in July of 2010, has him faces charges in connection with the incident. Investigators say, 51 year old, Walter Wiseman was under the influence of crack cocaine when he sexually assaulted the little girl. The 7 year old is the Granddaughter of his ex-girlfriend. Police say Wiseman was living with her in Hilltown on Green Street when the encounter happened. Court documents show that Wiseman was high on crack and watching porn when the 7-year-old girl entered the room to use a computer, but instead was sexually assaulted. Wiseman admitted to police that his addiction to crack cocaine and that it excited him. Wiseman faces multiple charges, including indecent assault, and unlawful contact. Wiseman is being held in Montgomery County Prison after failing to post bail. He faces a court hearing on September 5th.
The Montgomery County D-A’s Office has arrested the former Upper Gwynedd Township Fire Company Treasurer in connection with the theft of nearly 250-thousand dollars. D-A Risa Ferman says an accounting of funds revealed that Ken Nolan used fire company money for personal expenses between 2006 and 2012, including trips to Jamaica, China and 15 trips to Las Vegas, where he spent funds from the fire company on his daughter’s wedding. Nolan, according to records, obtained the money through the fire company’s bank accounts and credit cards. He was voted out as Treasurer, a volunteer position, in 2012.
Lansdale Borough Police arrest a Philadelphia man wanted on drug charges stemming from drug sales in the Borough last spring. Police say, 35-year-old, Gregory Williams was captured after officers saw him leaving a Lansdale apartment on West 5th Street late Monday afternoon. Officers checked his s-u-v and discovered 10 bags of white power, police tested one the bags, which came up positive for cocaine. Police also found some Vicodin pills. Williams is being held at the Montgomery County prison on a list of drug offenses. He’s also wanted in Philadelphia on a parole violation. A court hearing for Williams is scheduled for September 17th before District Judge Harold Borek.
Police in Bucks County have the dragnet out for a child snatcher. Investigators say the man tried to kidnap an eight year old girl while she played in her backyard in Morrisville. The girl escaped after she bit the hand of the suspect as he held it over her mouth to stifle a scream. The man escaped in a newer model sedan. Police have video of the car from a nearby security camera.
