A New York truck driver with a deplorable driving record pleads not guilty to a February 3rd hit and run in Hatfield Township a 6am that took the life of a Sellersville man. Police say, Ernest Cohens was driving a truck on route 309 when he tried to make a u-turn and struck a motorcycle driven by 55-year-old Terry Kriebel. Cohens helped cover the man’s body with another motorist. Cohens then fled the scene. He was apprehended just before 7am after hitting a pole and a bridge. Court records show Cohens’ license was suspended 22 times since 2007. He’s being held on 500-hundred thousand dollars bail. Cohens faces vehicular homicide charges and a list of additional traffic related offenses in connection with the February 3rd incident. Making Cohens’ legal outlook even more bleak, he allegedly had child porn on his cell phone at the time of his arrest.
Law enforcement officials in Warrington have a grusome double murder-suicide on their hands. Investigators say 44-year-old Christopher Moyer of Redstone Drive called 9-1-1 Friday night to report that his wife and seven-year-old son had been murdered. When asked who did it police say Moyer admitted killing his family by beating them to death with a baseball bat. After hanging up, Moyer got into his truck and parked it near the SEPTA tracks in Hatboro. He apparently committed suicide by throwing himself in front of a passing train.
Abington Police And Paramedics were called to the Willow Grove Mall parking garage for the report of a teen who jumped off the third level of the parking facility. Police say, the incident happened at around 8:30 Wednesday night. Police say the teen was in a car with several other teens, but for unknown reasons, got out of the vehicle and ran across the third level and jumped off the deck. The teen was rushed to Abington Memorial Hospital. He’s being treated for severe injuries. According to witnesses, the teen seemed to be under the influence of some kind of substance.
