Firefighters Find Flames Inside Drywall of Home
Montgomery Township on Taylor Road. The blaze erupted Wednesday morning just before 9:30 inside a piece of drywall. Firefighters were able to minimize the damage by quickly extinguishing the flames before they could spread. The fire was brought under control in 15 minutes. Fire officials say, no family members were injured as a result of the fire. It’s possible the fire may have been sparked by a wood burning stove. The investigation continues. Montgomery Township, Colmar, Lansdale, Hatfield and Hilltown Fire Companies responded to the fire.
Doctor Faces Drug Charges
A doctor who worked out of a Lafayette Hill office is in some hot water with authorities after being accused of writing prescriptions to drugs to three drug-dependent patients. Court records show that people who visited the office of doctor Michael Rosen referred to him as “doctor feel good.” After interviewing patients, dating back to 2011, police found that Rosen would prescribe drugs to patients even if they were not suffering from a particular condition, and he failed to check for symptoms.
