Teen From El Salvador Arrested on Attempted Rape Charges

A teen from El Salvador is being held on 100,000 dollars bail at the Montgomery County Prison after being accused of the attempted rape of a woman in Lansdale’s Stoney Creek Park. Police say it happened at around 4:45pm Monday, when a woman was putting her three children in her car. police say, when she turned around, 16-year-old, Herson Guardado was standing in front of her. Police say, he grabbed her neck and jammed something in her side she thought could be a knife. Police say, he asked her if she “wanted sex” and forced her to walk toward the park. the woman broke free. Guardado then ran toward a wooded area. Upper Gwynedd Township Police arrested Guardado near Church Road. Police found a knife, marijuana and a pipe on Guardado. He faces a long list of charges.

Bethlehem Man Killed on Route 309 Monday Morning

Police have identified the man killed in an early morning crash on Route 309 and West Pumping Station Road. Police say, Arthur Metcalfe was driving his pickup truck on Route 309 before 5am Monday when he slammed into the back of a tour bus at West Pumping Station Road. It’s not yet known why the 75-year-old Bethlehem man crashed his pick-up into the back of the bus. Traffic was backed-up due to the crash. Woman Flown To Hospital After Crash in Souderton

A head on crash in Souderton sends a 78-year-old woman to the hospital via helicopter. Police say, the crash happened Monday afternoon at around 2:30 on Godshall Road in the area of Lower Road. Franconia Township Police say, the woman was driving a 2002 Acura when she veered to the northbound lane of Godshall Road, impacting the school bus head-on. No students were on the bus. The woman was flown to Hahnemann University hospital. Police believe it’s possible the woman could have had a medical condition which led to the crash. Souderton and Telford Fire Companies responded to the crash. 

Police…F.B.I Investigate Armed Bank Robbery in Blue Bell

Whitpain Township Police and the F.B.I are looking for a  bank robber who made off with an unknown amount of cash, after hitting the First Priority bank in Blue Bell on Sentry Parkway. Police say, the man entered he bank just after 2:30pm last Thursday. The suspect was armed with a gun. Police say, the suspect covered his face with a dark mask and sunglasses. No one was injured. The suspect is described as a male, 5-6’, with a medium build. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and blue sneakers with red or orange on his sneakers.
