Three Montgomery County state representatives are sponsoring a bill to let local police use radar for speed enforcement. They are Democrats Matt Bradford and Josh Shapiro and Republican Mike Vereb.  The bill would let full-service accredited departments use it.  Under current Pennsylvania law, only state police are allowed to use radar.
