Borough Council has approved a cable TV franchise renewal agreement with Comcast. It was negotiated through a consortium that involved about a dozen other municipalities.  Councilman Dan Dunigan says the franchise fee that consumers pay with their bills will not change, and Comcast passes money generated through the fee back to the borough.  Lansdale also gets a fee for the use of borough utility poles.
