Mensch Found Guilty In Gun Incident
State Senator Bob Mensch (pictured here) has been found guilty of disorderly conduct for flashing a gun at another motorist on a Berks County highway in early March.
The other driver, Brian Salisbury of Easton, told state police Mensch showed a black gun in his hand after the senator started tailgating him and then passed him on I-78. Defense attorney Rich Wagner told a district judge Mensch never raised or pointed the gun or used it in a threatening way. The judge ordered him to pay a $300 fine plus court costs. The Express-Times newspaper says Mensch plans to appeal his conviction. His state senate district stretches through parts of Montgomery, Bucks, Lehigh and Northampton Counties.
