Pennsylvania Senator Pat Toomey says he’s not expecting an invite from Mitt Romney to be his running mate.
Toomey downplays pundits who say Romney would benefit from Toomey’s credit among conservatives.
“We have very capable and qualified people all across the country. I have no idea who he’s going to pick, but I am confident the person he picks will be very qualified and a strong asset to the ticket.”
Toomey stopped short of saying he wouldn’t run with Romney if asked. The full interview with the Pennsylvania Senator can be heard on Comment Please by Univest.
