NPWA Requests Charter Extension
The Towamencin Township Supervisors did that recently, and Chairman Dan Littley says they need the service.
“Everybody expects that when they turn on the faucet water is going to come out of it. When that doesn’t happen they get a little excited.”
The authority serves Towamencin, Hatfield, Franconia, Lower Salford and Skippack Townships, Lansdale, Souderton, Hatfield and Sellersville Boroughs and parts of Upper Gwynedd, Worcester, Hilltown, New Britain and East and West Rockhill Townships.
Customers can expect rate hikes averaging about three percent per year over the next few years to pay for various projects.
