Government Gives Award For Waste-To-Fuel Technology

Congresswoman Allyson Schwartz says the USDA has awarded nearly $7 million to its Regional Research Center in Montgomery County.

The center in Wyndmoor will use it to develop on-the-farm technology for converting agricultural waste, including weeds and horse manure, into biofuels and specialty chemicals.
