Lansdale Borough Council could vote February 20 on plans for two properties at West Main Street and Valley Forge Road.

The owner plans to combine a former flower shop and the twin home next door and build a small addition in the space between the buildings.

Director of Community Development John Ernst says the project must address stormwater issues.

“The stormwater management which is occurring now is not conforming to the current standards of the DEP, so whatever gets done on that site will be brought up to the current standards of federal regulators.”

The Zoning Hearing Board has already granted a variance that will allow less parking than the zoning ordinance requires.
