State Senator Daylin Leach, who’s district includes part of Montgomery County has announced he’s running for the 13th Congressional seat. The district is split between Eastern Montgomery County and Philadelphia. The Democrat has launched his campaign before official word that fellow Democrat and incumbent, Allyson Schwartz is going to leave her seat to run for Governor.
“Allyson Schwartz is a serious person. I don’t think she talks about running for office as serious as Governor frivolously. I’m acting as if she does and what she means and so I have a lot of work to do and I have to get started on doing it.”
Leach called himself the liberal lion of Pennsylvania when launching his campaign Tuesday.
