Just about every lawmaker in the U-S is calling former N.S.A employee, Edward Snowden, a criminal and a traitor for leaving the country with some of the nation's secrets. U-S Senator Pat Toomey is lining up with many of his colleagues on the Snowden issue.
“I think his choice of countries to flee to is very interesting and telling because China and on his way to Russia and we are told he’s on his way to Cuba and then eventually Ecuador. This is a clear path of somebody who isn’t interested in human rights and personal freedom and respect for privacy, obviously, when he would go to these countries.”
Toomey says, it’s surprising that this situation happened at the N.S.A because of the high level of oversight at the agency. Toomey was a guest on the AM—Edition this morning with Darryl Berger.
