Governor Corbett paid a visit to Willow Grove Thursday night. It’s part of his Promises Kept re-election campaign. Political insider, Doctor Terry Madonna says, Corbett made multiple cuts to education, but a transportation funding bill could revitalize his administration in the eyes of the public.
“I think they’re getting close from sources in Harrisburg to a transportation bill. The question is will it be big enough and the big debate is over something called prevailing wage and whether that wage is suspended for construction jobs up to a 100,000 dollars.”
Madonna adds, Corbett also has to contend with an out of control pension system that is in a 50 billion dollar deficit.
