Godshall Hopes To Vote on A Trans. Bill This Week

Longtime State lawmaker Bob Godshall hopes to be able to vote for a bill this week to raise money for road and bridge repair and mass transit funding. The 53rd District State Rep. says a less expensive bill than the two and a half billion dollar package passed by the State Senate is likely to be voted on in the House.

“Every traffic violation would have a hundred dollars added on and that didn’t find a lot of favorable people in the House to push that, so that will probably be coming out.”

Godshall says, a transportation funding bill is desperately needed is this part of the state.
