The empty seat on the Towamencin Township Board of Auditors has been filled. Former Board member Bill Whitelock was appointed in January and took the oath of office for a two year term Wednesday night.
Whitelock says, the position is a great way to serve the community.
“Someone like myself who has over 35 year of accounting experience, in both the public and private sector, I can offer input and be a separate set of eyes for the township.”
Whitelock replaces Laura Smith, who gave up her seat after she was sworn-in as a township supervisor in January.
