Pennsylvania U.S. Senator Bob Casey is calling on his colleagues from both sides of the aisle to pass a bill for emergency unemployment compensation.
Casey says, there’s a dire need to pass the bill, especially in Pa.
“As of March 1st, 105,000 Pennsylvanians lost their unemployment benefits.”
Casey adds, it’s a lifeline for middle class families
“Who rely upon the program to stay afloat as their actively seeking work. I think that sometimes that is lost in the discussion.”
Casey says, passage of the bill would also give the economy a boost.
