Long-Time Ursinus President Dies
Former Ursinus College President John Strassburger died Wednesday at the age of 68.
He served as president for more than 15 years, retiring in June of this year because of health problems. During Doctor Strassburger’s presidency the college added new courses, built a new performing arts center and field house at the Collegeville campus and added a new wing to the Berman Art Museum, and student enrollment grew from about 1,100 to 1,700.
