Montco Girl Wins Drug-Free Calendar Contest
A Montgomery County girl has won the grand prize in the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Fourteenth Annual Drug-Free Calendar Contest.
The winner is Lauren DiWilliams, a fifth-grader at Epiphany of our Lord Elementary School in Plymouth Township (pictured her with Attorney General Tom Corbett). Her drawing is on the cover of next year’s calendar, and she wins a $500 U.S. Savings Bond. The drawing depicts a spring sunrise with young plants growing, a summer day at the beach, autumn leaves and a snowman. The written message with the drawing is, “Don’t miss the beauty of life. Stay drug-free.”
