Paul Clymer suprised a lot of folks earlier this month when he announced he would not seek re-election for the 145th district state house seat. He's been in the state house for 30 years and it seemed reasonable that at 72 years old, he decided he would enjoy retirement (with a pretty good retirement plan by the way). But now he's apparently had a change of heart and will run for a 16th term. I respect the representative a lot, but I was beginning to think some fresh blood and new ideas might be a good thing. If he runs, he's likely to win. So I guess we will have Paul Clymer to kick around for another two years (at least).
