The call is out for North Penn School District residents that are able to think outside of the box. The School Board is looking for between five and nine of them that are willing to volunteer their time to serve on the new Alternative Revenue Committee. It will generate ideas on how to collect money through grants and other means without raising taxes. School Board President Vince Sherpinsky says other districts use similar committees and some of them generate as much as half a million dollars. The deadline for applications is November 15th.
