MCCC Getting Fulbright Scholar
For the fourth time in six years, Montgomery County Community College is getting a Fulbright Visiting Scholar-in-Residence.
Doctor Jiaxi Xu is a science professor from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology in China. He is teaching chemistry classes at Montco for the spring semester of this year, and he plans to give lectures on academic research, Chinese culture and modern China to foster better understanding between China and the U.S. He is also available to speak before community organizations. The Fulbright Scholar program is sponsored by the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
