A Warrington man who admitted hacking into the computer system at Temple University’s Ambler Campus and changing his grades has been given two years on probation. 31-year-old Edwin Kim must also pay a $300 fine.  Investigators found that he changed his grades from “F” to “A” in Accounting, Financial Management, and Law and American Society courses.

He said he bought a device that records the strokes on a computer keyboard, installed it on a machine in the administration office and removed it a few days later after he had account numbers and passwords from his professors.  The case came to light after his accounting professor found herself locked out of her own account.
