Riegelsville Children to Change Schools
They finally reached an out-of-court settlement allowing them to transfer their children from the urban Easton district in Northampton County, where they have attended classes since the 1930’s, to the largely rural Palisades district in Bucks County.
The small borough, which covers about one square mile along the Delaware River, currently has 81 school-age children. Starting in the Fall of next year they will attend classes at Palisades schools, thanks to approval this month by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
