The Lansdale Zoning Hearing Board has approved plans by Lansdale Catholic High School to put an electronic sign outside the school, at Seventh Street and Lansdale Avenue.
It would have changeable messages, similar to a sign in front of North Penn High School on Valley Forge Road in Towamencin Township.
The approval comes with two conditions. The message must not change more than an average of once a day, and the sign must be available for public service messages such as traffic advisories and Amber Alerts.
The messages would be changed from inside the building by remote control, and the sign could be in place as soon as late November.
