The Worcester Township Supervisors have delayed action on an ordinance that would allow lights at the Methacton High School athletic fields.

The delay allows time to clarify the language and make a few changes, such as reducing the height limit for the light towers from 100 feet to 85 feet.

Township Solicitor James Garrity says they need some objective lighting regulations before they can move forward.

The supervisors will vote next week to advertise the revised ordinance.
