The contact for teachers, support staff and cafeteria workers in the Pennridge School District expired in June. There is still no new contract as the school year begins.
A tentative contract agreement in July between the Central Bucks School Board and the Central Bucks Education Association will have to wait for final ratification on the school board’s part because of summer scheduling conflicts.
The Central Bucks Education Association has given the green light to a new four year contract. It will give teachers a 2.81 percent raise annually.
