The Souderton Area School Board has reelected Bernie Currie as its president. The vote took place at the district reorganization meeting Thursday night. Currie says the district faces big challenges as it tries to put together a budget for the next school year with rapidly rising pension costs. In other action at the reorganization meeting, board member Scott Jelinski was elected vice president. New board members Nicholas Braccio and Donna Scheuren were sworn-in for four year terms.
