Liquor Store Denied

A developer’s plan to rezone residential lots at Norristown and Welsh Roads was shot down by Horsham Borough council. Developer Danny Jake of Willow Grove wanted to construct a ten-thousand square-foot, state operated liquor store.

Burglary Ring Broken-up

A burglary ring that targeted un-locked homes has been broken up. District Attorney Risa Ferman announced yesterday that five men in their mid-twenties, three from Philadelphia, two from Bristol Township have been arrested in connection to a string of burglaries that began in May and centered on the route 63 corridor in eastern Montgomery County.
