North Penn Talks Continue Tonight

Contract talks will resume tonight between the North Penn Education Association and the district’s school board. Talks have been going on since March but, head of the education association Alan Malachowski says there has been no sign of negotiations on the district’s part.

Crews Continue Search for Remaining Body

Divers found one of the two remaining missing bodies following Saturday’s crash between a small plane and a helicopter in the Hudson River in New York.  In all, nine people died including 60-year old Steven Altman of Ambler, his brother Daniel and nephew Douglas both of Dresher.

MontCo Pilot in New York Crash

The search for bodies continues today in the Hudson River as divers look for the remaining victims from Saturday’s collision between a small plane and helicopter in New York. In all nine people were killed.

Excessive Heat Warning Today

An excessive heat warning is in effect today beginning at 10 this morning. Temperatures heading into the mid-nineties coupled with high humidity will make it feel well above one-hundred degrees.
