Mixed Verdict In Sex For Tix Trial
A woman accused of offering sex for Phillies World Series tickets has been found not guilty of prostitution but guilty of attempted prostitution. A jury handed down the mixed verdict Thursday in Bucks County Court. 44-year-old Susan Finkelstein of Philadelphia says she is disappointed that she was not acquitted on both counts, but there are disappointments in life. A Bensalem police officer said he responded to an October ad on the Craigslist website that said, “Gorgeous tall buxom blonde in desperate need of two World Series tickets -- price negotiable.” Another officer who met her at Manny Brown’s Bar and Grill in the Neshaminy Mall said she offered to have sex with him and his brother in return for tickets. She denied offering sex. Her lawyer said the police exaggerated, and he is preparing an appeal.
